ALERT: MISSING PERSONS

A character-driven police procedural drama set in the Philadelphia Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit (M.P.U.). When police officer Nikki Batista’s son goes missing, she joins the special unit to help others find their loved ones, even as she searches for her own. “Alert: Missing Persons Unit” is a procedural drama with a heart-pounding, life-or-death search for a missing person in each episode, running alongside Nikki and her ex-husband’s quest to find out the truth about their long-lost son. It’s a case-of-the-week show with a case-of-a-lifetime story running through it — a story that alternately brings the two main characters gut-wrenching heartache and heart-pounding joy. I particularly like Scott Caan’s character. Caan continues his covert-like role he had in Hawaii 5-0. Alert: Missing Persons Unit airs Monday 9p E.T. on FOX.

THE WATCHFUL EYE

Elena Santos, a young woman with a complicated past, maneuvers her way into working as a live-in nanny for an affluent family in Manhattan. She quickly learns that everyone in the mysterious building has deadly secrets and ulterior motives. What they don’t know, however, is that Elena has some shocking secrets of her own. The Hitchcock-inspired mystery premiers Monday 9p E.T. on Freeform.

SPONGEBOB SQUAREPAINTS

Whether a kid or a kid at heart, follow the adventures of the world’s lovable sponge and his starfish sidekick Patrick. Though they have the best intentions, SpongeBob and Patrick are always causing trouble. When he’s not at the Krusty Krab grilling up some epic Krabby Patties, SpongeBob can be found jellyfishing with Patrick, blowing bubbles, or annoying his favorite neighbor, Squidward. SpongeBob airs on Nickelodeon Monday 8p ET.

SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK! 50TH ANNIVERSARY SINGALONG

“I’m just a Bill” and “Conjunction Junction, What’s Your Function” were two savvy phrases familiar to the Baby Boomers and Gen X audience on a Saturday morning 50 years ago. Schoolhouse Rock! 50th Anniversary Singalong is the 5th installment of A.B.C.’s singalong franchise hosted by Ryan Seacrest. Schoolhouse Rock first hit the air on January 6th, 1973, and educated and entertained kids of all ages in history, grammar, multiplication, and science. Although the singers have changed since 1973, they too are familiar with the youth and youth at heart. Shaquille O’Neal, the Boys Club of Atlanta, and the Black-Eyed Peas are just two of the star-studded list of performers. Schoolhouse Rock! A 50th Anniversary Singalong airs on A.B.C., Monday 8p E.T.
